“In 1620, a group of pilgrims left England seeking religious freedom. Upon their arrival in the New World, they created the Mayflower Compact, which established self-governance for the colony and helped shape the nation that eventually became the United States of America.”

A Thing of Beauty: The Pilgrims, the Wampanoag, and Reciprocity too many in our day do not understand how things truly were between the Separatist Pilgrims and the Wampanoag who befriended them. They were true friends. They did right by each other the best that imperfect people can. They helped each other.
"Mayflower Pilgrims - Plymouth Plantation" a very educational 5 part video playllist by "Jeffrey the Librarian" You Tube channel. He reviews the history quite well and shows some basic maps so you can get a better idea of where the events took place. His channel has other playlists covering other USA history as well.
"Tour of Mayflower II, 2011" This is a video tour of a replica of the Mayflower done while that ship was in dry dock for repairs and restoration work. It allows you to better see what it was like.

"Overboard on the Mayflower" John Howland "During a storm in the north Atlantic, indentured servant John Howland was swept off the Mayflower's deck. Fortunately, he grabbed a line and was hauled back onboard. Howland thrived in the New World and nearly four centuries later, an estimated two million Americans can claim him as an ancestor."
The Pilgrims and the Indians "Some critics today besmirch the Pilgrims because of mistreatment of the Native-Americans. But this short video which includes commentary from an Indian and author and pastor shows that the Pilgrims were exemplary in their relations with the Indians. It proved to be a mutually beneficial relationship"
George Soule: Mayflower Passenger Documentary "Mayflower Pilgrim George Soule is the subject of this documentary. It covers the life of Mayflower passenger and Plymouth colonist George Soule; the Edward Winslow household to which he belonged; as well as his later wife Mary Buckett. Researchers Caleb Johnson, Sue Allan and Simon Neal discuss the genealogical and DNA research that has gone into trying to puzzle out his origins and parentage."
